Background

Previously Kazel was a technician for the IIT Research Institute in Chicago and held various positions at WPGU Radio, Urbana. He also was a news reporter/anchor for WCCR Radio, Urbana; was editor/operator and consultant for MN-G Teleview, Urbana; an announcer for WJTX, Urbana-Champaign; the public information officer for the Champaign County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency; a contributing videographer to the Weather Channel; and a research associate at the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories.
